Amit Itzcar

Born in 1979, Amit Itzcar grew up in Givataim, a small town outside Tel-Aviv. He served in the communication corps for 3 years as a video-editor and an animator. After his service, Amit went to study art and film at "Minshar For Art" where later he worked, not before working in a video store for 6 years. He directed several short films, video-arts and some music videos to bands like The Girls, Punkache, Lo Dubim, Caveman and others. He also directed a film about the Israeli noise band The Disposables (Hameyutarim). "The Safety in Rubber" is his graduation film from "Minshar For Art" school and center.
