Israel's hot climate and mid-eastern mentality is an unusual setting for this story, following the Israeli National Ice Hockey team... It comes as no surprise that they are virtually unknown in their own country, as there is only one single skating rink strangely situated on the Lebanese border!
Led by a legendary Canadian coach, Israel's overacheiving team is compised of an intriguing group of amateurs from diverse multi-cultural backgrounds... Though they differ in background, immigrants from the former Soviet bloc join ex-Israeli's living in North America as they strive for a sense of acceptance & belonging in Israeli society.
