Nina is a French concert pianist. One day she meets Ilan, an Israeli computer experts, in Paris on vacation. They fall in love, marry and move with their son Gili to Israel.
Not much later, Ilan is called up by the Israeli military for compulsory service because the situation in the Middle East heats up. Soonafter, Nina receives a call from the military and learns that her husband was wounded in battle.
