Born in Haifa but grew up in Kiriat Haim, as a child appeared in "Makhelat Tzadikov". In 1978, she joined the Nahal Army Band and participated in many events as a singer, and was one of the original performs of "Shir Lashalom". After her discharge she joined the Cameri Theater, and played in many plays. She also appeared in a few movies, television shows and even a telenovela ("Michaela"). Nachmias is most famous for being a children's productions star. She appeared on many musicals and children's shows, among them the Israeli productions of Peter Pan (the first ever Israeli musical), The Sound of Music, Annie, and The Wizard of Oz. She is the author of a book series titled Sodot Nehurim. For many years she hosted a TV guest show for children: Baheder Shel Hanny (English title: "in Hanny's Room"). In 2007 the TV show ended. In May 2008, she divorced from Jakob K., and is now engaged to Eyal M.. She lives with her children. In these days, Hanny is developing her political career.
