Prolific Palestinian actress - recipient of the Best Actress award from the Israeli Film Academy and 2008 Asia Pacific Screen Awards for her role in The Lemon Tree. She had a small role in Steven Spielberg's Munich, where she also served as a dialect and acting consultant. Additionally, she directed two short films, Le Pain (2001), La Danse éternelle (2004), and She is the lead actress in Julian Schnabel's Miral.
